100: Call to Order and Determination of a Quorum
The Central City Board of Directors meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM in the Library of the Central City School District (400 Barber St, Central City). Roll was taken to determine a quorum. Present: Carson, Rundall, Siglin, Stewart, Watkinson.

200: Adoption of the Agenda
MOTION by Siglin to adopt the agenda as presented. Second by Carson. Voice voted, all ayes.

300: Consent Agenda
MOTION by Watkinson to approve the consent agenda as presented. Second by Siglin. Voice voted, all ayes.

501: Superintendent Report
Superintendent Glenn shared updates that our 2 new Science teachers had made it safely from the Philippines. We are excited to have Krishna and Kennie Mae join us.  She also happily shared the new addition of our Director of Buildings and Grounds, Mat Silver.

601: Receive Special Education Modified Allowable Growth
MOTION by Siglin to approve the 2025-2026 Special Education Modified Allowable Growth in the amount of $147,127.44. Second by Carson. Voice voted, all ayes.  

602: First Reading of Policy Recommendations  
MOTION by Watkinson to waive the second reading and approve policy updates as presented at this meeting. Second by Stewart. Voice voted, all ayes.      Policy # Title 711.3, 711.4, 711.5 Annual Review of Transportation Policies  

603:  Discussion of Engagement Letter Relating to PowerSchool Litigation
MOTION by Carson to approve the Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the engagement letter relating to PowerSchool litigation. Second by Stewart. Voice voted, all ayes.    

604: Receive Fundraiser Requests
MOTION by Carson to approve the fundraiser requests for Classrooms, Student Council, FFA and Youth Football as presented. Second by Siglin. Voice voted, all ayes. Abstain: Watkinson    

605: Receive Home School Assistance Program Handbook
MOTION by Siglin to approve the Home School Assistance Program Handbook as presented. Second by Watkinson. Voice voted, all ayes.    

606: Receive Engagement Letter from Ahlers & Cooney for GO Bond
MOTION by Carson to approve the Engagement Letter with Ahlers & Cooney for the GO Bond as presented. Second by Stewart. Voice voted, all ayes.
